Tom is a retired international hockey player, renowned coach, and passionate leader in the world of sport. With a career spanning over two decades, Tom has made an indelible mark on the sport of field hockey, both as a player and as a coach. From representing the USA at the highest levels to building junior development programs across three continents, Tom's journey is a testament to resilience, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to nurturing the next generation of athletes.
From the age of 18, Tom, began coaching, quickly developing a reputation as a dedicated and insightful mentor. Over the years, he led a wide range of junior programs in the USA, Australia, and England, working with athletes from grassroots to elite levels. In particular, Tom's ability to connect with young players and help them realize their potential became a hallmark of his coaching style.

Tom's hockey journey began at an early age, developing a passion for the sport that would eventually lead to an international career. A standout player in the USA's national field hockey system, Tom earned 31 caps for the USA National Team, representing the country on the world stage and honing the skills that would later shape Tom's coaching philosophy. Tom's career also took a turn Down Under, where he played for three years in the Perth Premier League in Australia, competing alongside some of the country's best players, including the renowned Kookaburras. This experience broadened his understanding of international hockey, enriching both his playing style and coaching approach.
