How do I join Wimbledon Hockey Club?

  1. Register on myclubhouse to create your account. This is where you will be able to choose your membership type, and make payment for it. https://thewimbledonclub.myclubhouse.co.uk/Registration/Register/Index?id=3

  2. Once you receive the email confirming you have been registered, please login and add required medical and contact details.

  3. You will also receive an email asking you to register to Teamo and join the WImbledonHC Teamo group, this is where we have our events calendar for training and fixtures.

What are the venues for training/matches for juniors?

  • Raynes Park High School, Bushey Rd, London SW20 0JL

  • KCS Kingsway New Malden KT3 6JB

  • Wimbledon High School Playing Fields Nursery Rd, London SW19 4JA

 

Teamo

We use Teamo across the club for match and training availability, and ask that you set your availability in advance of all fixtures and training sessions.

 

What are the different membership types?

Sunday only- matches and or training

Full member- age group midweek training session and Sunday match/training

What are the Season Dates?
Our season runs from Monday 1st September through to Sunday 22nd March with breaks during school holidays.
October Half term is from Saturday 25th October through to and including Saturday 1st November
December holidays are from Monday 8th December through to and including Saturday 3rd January.
Training resumes again in 2026 from Sunday 4th January 2026 to 22nd March with February half term from 14-21st February. 

 

When do the juniors play matches?

U7 to U12s  play in Mega League fixtures once a month against other London League clubs, home and away based clubs.These are tournaments where players get a chance to put their skills to the test against other teams, in a fun and friendly format!

 

U14-18 Enter into England Hockey Tier 1, 2, and 3 competitions, alongside relevant cup competitions. These competitions cater for all abilities.

What equipment does my child need? All compulsory
Mouthguard
Shin pads
Penalty corner mask for U12 and above- if child plays in a defensive position/involved in short corners.

Indoor Hockey

From October through to December there are Indoor hockey sessions held at KCS School. Indoor programmes are for U10 to U14s. More information to come for this.

Juniors playing senior hockey

Juniors who are 13 and over are eligible to play adult hockey in our ladies and men’s teams on Saturdays.

Juniors playing on Saturdays will need to pay a £5 match fee but there are no additional annual subs.

 

Are Players expected to stay for match teas?

We find that players greatly benefit from staying for match teas as they build a really strong team spirit and extend their friendships.
