To celebrate International Women's Day earlier this week and all the strong and inspiring women at Wimbledon Hockey Club, this Saturday we are hosting our Women's Day with the spotlight on the W1's and 2's double header at Raynes Park High School.
This weekend marks the start of Premier League Phase 3 action with the Top 8 teams now split into two pools of 4. Teams play others in their pool once with the top two in both pools progressing to Finals Weekend at Surbiton at the beginning of April. All previous points are now gone so anyone can put their stamp on Phase 3 and qualify for the semis!
After their great win against Barnes last week, the W2's play league-leaders ISCA & University of Exeter at 12pm at Raynes Park. The W1's follow them with a clash against University of Nottingham at 2pm.
The Men's 1's face Reading - a team they played just two weeks ago - under the lights at 6pm. The team welcome back Callum Mackenzie and Peter Scott this week who have both recently returned from injury.
The end of the season is rapidly approaching and our teams need your support. Please come along to Raynes Park High School on Saturday to cheer our teams on and to witness some quality hockey action!
